About Me

The passion for “doing things right the first time” and the impact of how one piece of information on a document can affect the final product at the consumer level, inspired me to make a difference in quality assurance. Although these industries vary in many ways, I see that there are so many similarities in terms of values and applications in consumable products (food, natural health, pharmaceuticals, cannabis, pet food, etc.)

In 2017 just before cannabis legalisation, I was part of a start-up core team, going from obtaining their first licence to going public with multiple facilities. The adaptation from learning new regulations, to quickly pivoting a fast growing company and within a very competitive industry, was a challenge and a story of a lifetime I will never forget.

Fast forward to 2023, I started my journey as an educator teaching post-secondary students food safety and quality, and regulatory compliance. The connection between mentorship and leadership has truly brought me to this new chapter in my career, where I get to make an impact on future industry candidates.

I want to build something that is of my own, while making small changes that would lead to big impacts. I would like to take part in your career or business journey, and be proud to say that “glad I was part of it”.
